Recent reports suggest that AMD is poised to introduce the Radeon RX 7650 GRE, with a possible reveal at CES 2025. This addition is set to bridge the gap in AMD's current desktop graphics card lineup, effectively complementing the existing RDNA 3 architecture alongside the Radeon RX 7700 XT.

According to Benchlife, AMD plans to roll out as many as four Radeon RX 8000 series graphics cards leveraging the RDNA 4 architecture during CES 2025. While the Radeon RX 7650 GRE is confirmed to be in the works, it's unlikely to debut at CES given its target as a regional-specific product. As inventories of the Radeon RX 6750 GRE series dwindle, AMD is poised to introduce new offerings to supplant them. It's anticipated that the Radeon RX 7650 GRE will launch by the end of Q1 2025.

Originally launched in October of last year, AMD's Radeon RX 6750 GRE series, designed with the RDNA 2 architecture, came in 10GB and 12GB variants catering specifically to the Chinese market. Despite utilizing a previous generation architecture, these cards have garnered significant popularity among gamers due to their robust base performance and attractive pricing. AMD appears to be continuing this market strategy with the impending "Gold Rabbit Edition" release tailored for China. Even though the Year of the Rabbit has passed, the "GRE" moniker persists for continuity.

Benchlife suggests that the forthcoming Radeon RX 7650 GRE will likely feature the Navi 33 chip, though further specifications remain undisclosed.
