An internal roadmap from OEM Seleno has prematurely unveiled AMD's upcoming plans for its next-generation Zen 6 mobile processors. This marks the first official acknowledgment of a new lineup codenamed Gator Range and Medusa. The document outlines AMD's strategic direction for its mobile products from 2026 to 2027, highlighting its approach to high-end gaming laptops, ultra-thin performance notebooks, and the mainstream market. Each product line in the roadmap is distinctly positioned: Gator Range targets enthusiasts and high-performance computing; Medusa Point caters to high-end and mainstream markets, and Medusa BB focuses on more accessible notebook options.

Leading the charge, the Gator Range series is set to transition desktop-class core specifications to mobile platforms, boasting up to 24 cores and 32 threads with a TDP exceeding 55W. This makes it a direct successor to the current Fire Range HX series.
