On July 26, ASRock officially released the AMD Radeon RX7900 Passive series of graphics cards, featuring two models: RX7900XT and RX7900XTX. This series utilizes a passive cooling system and features a 12V-2x6 interface for power supply.
According to ASRock’s official website, the AMD Radeon RX7900 Passive series employs vapor-chamber soaking plates. Additionally, the aluminum cooling fins are designed with a V-shaped air guide. The thickness of the graphics card is double-slot, ensuring effective heat dissipation even in multi-card configurations. For power supply, the series uses a single horizontally oriented 12V-2x6 interface, which simplifies wiring and enhances the installation experience. To further strengthen the structural integrity, these graphics cards come with metal backplates. ASRock claims that the AMD Radeon RX7900 Passive series is the ideal choice for system integrators building multi-card systems.
