AMD has reportedly informed its partners that it will discontinue the popular Radeon RX 6750 GRE 10GB graphics card, signaling January as the final phase for clearing out remaining stock. This decision, impacting AMD's best-selling graphics card at this time, leaves many channel dealers baffled. Manufacturers are expected to manage the remaining inventory from January to February, while anticipating new products to arrive from February to March.
Introduced in October 2023, the Radeon RX 6750 GRE 10/12GB was positioned as an essential option in AMD's lineup, bridging the gap between the RX 7600 and RX 7700 XT. Although it continued with the RDNA 2 architecture rather than adopting the newer RDNA 3, its balance of specification and price won over many gamers, helping AMD to hold its ground firmly in the mid-range market. Looking ahead, AMD's Radeon RX 9060 series is poised to replace this line.
