Last month, AMD introduced the Ryzen 5 7600X3D processor, the fourth 3D V-Cache offering for the AM5 platform tailored for mainstream gaming. At the time of announcement, the Ryzen 5 7600X3D was set to be available exclusively through Micro Center, limited to 28 retail locations across the United States, with a price tag of $299.99, making its availability fairly restricted.
Recently, several users have observed that the Ryzen 5 7600X3D processor has also appeared in the German market. Similar to its US availability, it is exclusively sold through a specific retailer—MindFactory, where it is priced at €329 . German customers also receive a complimentary shirt with their purchase. This pricing is noticeably higher than the Ryzen 5 7600X, which is priced at €192 from the same retailer.
Built on the Zen 4 architecture core, the Ryzen 5 7600X3D features 6 cores and 12 threads. It utilizes 3D Vertical Cache (3D V-Cache) technology and operates at a base frequency of 4.1 GHz and a boost frequency of 4.7 GHz—both 600 MHz lower than the Ryzen 5 7600X. The standout feature of this processor is its substantial L3 cache of 96 MB, which is 64 MB more than the standard Ryzen 5 7600X. The new processor has a TDP of 65 W and is compatible with AM5 motherboards equipped with A620, B650, B650E, X670, and X670E chipsets.
While MindFactory also serves the Austrian market, the Ryzen 5 7600X3D is not available in that region. It remains uncertain whether AMD will expand its sales territory in the future or opt for different retail partners in other regions.
